Infant Health Awareness Bracelets

Our Infant Health Awareness Wristband is a wonderful way to raise awareness for improved infant health and for the prevention of premature births, low birthweight, and infant mortality. Each year over 450,000 infants in the United States are born prematurely, many struggling to survive and many with lifelong health issues. Over 100,000 infants are born with physical and/or mental disabilities, often referred to as birth defects. The cause of approximately 70% of birth defects is unknown. Birth defects are one of the leading causes of death in the first year of an infant's life. Although the risk of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) has decreased dramatically (up to 50% decrease) in recent years, SIDS remains as one of the leading causes of death in infants under the age of one year old.

The symbolic colors for Infant Health Awareness are pastel pink and blue. Our Infant Health Awareness Bracelet features 4mm sterling silver beads and 4mm pink and blue Swarovski® crystals. Included is a sterling silver awareness ribbon charm. Ten percent of the proceeds of the sale of these bracelets will be donated to the March of Dimes Foundation*.
